Bootroom Boy & Faster Than Owen in action

Last updated : 17 May 2002 By Kop Talk News

The Kop Talk mongrels are out in force this evening and both have been well supported by the British media today which can be bad thing.

9-year-old Liverpool supporter Charlotte Oldham's greyhound 'Faster Than Owen' is in action at 6.28pm and KopTalk's 'Bootroom Boy' is in action at 8.07pm - both races will be shown live in the major bookies in the UK and Ireland.

The Bootroom Boy is upgraded to his toughest challenge yet. He will make his televised racing debut in an A3 contest at 8.07pm at Brough Park (Trap 4). Today's Racing Post describes him as a "fast improving pup with blinding speed" and they suggest punters should "stay with him".

Kennel-mate Faster Than Owen "never runs a bad race" and "gets vote to outstay 'em" in her A4 race at 6.28pm (Trap 4), says The Post.

Both dogs fly the flag for a bit of fun for the site and the Bootroom Boy now receives fan mail from all over the world.

Every month we pick the name of someone who has sent the Bootroom Boy a post-card, letter or parcel and award them a prize. If you send Sam a post-card between now and the end of the July, we will enter your name in to a draw for an X-BOX games console!
