The Bootroom Boy sustained a leg injury during his second race this evening.
He started the race with blistering space and led until the second bend where he picked-up his injury.
Although he managed to complete the race, Sam will undergo a thorough examination in the morning but will be laid-up for at least 7-10 days.
This dog certainly has a bright future ahead of him.
Meanwhile kennel-mate 'Faster Than Owen' will be in action tomorrow afternoon. Supporters in the UK can pop along to any major bookmaker to watch the race which will be shown live at 4.38pm (TRAP 2 - BLUE). We think she's in with a chance.
