'Bootroom Boy' in action - Win an X-Box!

Last updated : 29 May 2002 By Kop Talk News

The Bootroom Boy is in action this evening in the Fossway Puppy Stakes, a 480m Open Race at Brough Park (8.18pm - Trap3).

Expectations for the youngster are high and after a brave fight against the awesome 'Tucks Mein' last night in which he finished 3rd in his first Open Race, we're hoping he'll bounce back this evening, despite only recently returning from injury.

Today's Racing Post (page 64) says: "Bootroom Boy has bundles of early and is fancied to take control on the dash to the first bend. There was no disgrace in the fact that Tucks Mein proved far too strong for him over the course and distance last week and this opposition should be less demanding."

Sam's kennel is kitted out in the latest Liverpool FC gear and post-cards from Liverpool supporters around the globe. At the moment we are running a special competition to see how many post-cards we can collect for him for the staff to put up in his kennel. Send your messages to Sam on a back of a post-card to the address below and we will enter you into a draw for a brand new XBox console! The winners details will be published on site. The competition will remain open for a number of weeks so you have plenty of time.
