'Bootroom Boy' wins in style on debut

The Bootroom Boy made a fine impression on his racing debut this evening by storming home a clear winner in a very difficult A5 graded race at Brough Park.

He showed some pre-race nerves and didn't want to be paraded in front of the thousands who were in attendance but as soon as he was boxed the nerves lifted and he made a flying start. He battled it out with the '3' dog at the start but steered safely round the first bend and always led to the loud cheers from a crowd who enjoyed seeing a young pup make such an impact on his racing debut.

Meanwhile kennel-mate 'Faster Than Owen' will be in action tomorrow evening hoping to continue her fine start to her own racing career.
