Boss backs Baros to shine

The 21-year-old Czech international has become increasingly frustrated at his lack of appearances in recent weeks. After being given given a rare start against Fulham, Baros failed to find the net after a number of openings. Houllier, though, admits that he was impressedwith Baros's display.

Houllier said: I told him after the Fulham game he was in the right positions to score so keep going.

"That happens to all strikers. I have faith in the boy, he's still learning and when he keeps getting in those positions I know he will score."
