“I'd like to dedicate this victory to the fans and the board, including the chairman and Rick Parry, as they have been very supportive of the boys,” he said .
“We've had a difficult week and I told the players that this was the perfect opportunity for them to show their character and their worth.
“Sometimes we have struggled this season but we have stayed united and have a great team spirit.
“Beating Chelsea here is a great achievement. Maybe it was an ugly win but it was a good win.
“Obviously Chelsea are now going through a bad patch so I have sympathy for Claudio Ranieri but we made them look ordinary.”
