Boss denies Pongo transfer talk

Pongolle has been complaining about a lack of first team chances and admitted he was prepared to leave Anfield to get regular football. However, Rafael Benitez says the player has not spoken to him about leaving.

"I have only read about a transfer request but he has said nothing to me about it. He is young and he needs to train hard for the future. That is all," says Benitez.
