Torres has scored 20 goals for Liverpool this season despite numerous injury problems and has earned the praise of the boss who says the striker will play a vital part in the run in.
"He is scoring great goals and he is scoring a lot of them," said Rafa.
"It is very important for him to keep scoring and to stay on fire. If he can keep going it will be crucial because he is threat to the opposition and is also good for our other players too.
"If we can keep our momentum, keep showing our quality and maintain the same attitude as against Sunderland, then I think we can do well."
