Benitez has experienced the Anfield atmosphere before with Valenica and says he is looking forward to the backing he will receive from the Kop.
He said: "When I came here with Valencia and saw all the supporters it was just fantastic.
"I'm now a new manager of Liverpool and I can't wait for this game and to see all the fans. I've heard about the songs they sing and I'm looking forward to hearing them tomorrow. This kind of thing doesn't happen in Spain. It's not normal over there, but I know tomorrow will be different.
"Sometimes I don't hear everything because I'm watching the match but when I do hear my name then of course it is exciting. All I can say is that if the fans are singing my name and I don't wave at them it's because I am concentrating so hard on the game."
