"Djibril scored two good goals, for the penalty he hit the shot properly and the second goal was a good finish following good play from Josemi," said Benitez.

"We now have two options for the final. We can play with two strikers in Milan and Djibril or we can play with one of them.

"Both strikers are strong and quick and it's always better to have more options.

"We played well in the first half, but in the second half we came under pressure and didn't play so well, but still had a few counter attacks.

"But the important thing was to finish up the season in front of our supporters with a win and to see Jamie Carragher complete every minute of every Premiership game, with things like this we must be happy."
