Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Portsmouth last night because they could not capitalise on the chances they made in the second half, to the frustration of their manager.
Benitez said: "For me, what happened for the Portsmouth goal is not important. If you have a lot of chances and you don't take them then you are always vulnerable at the other end with only one goal. We have lost two points because we haven't taken our chances.
"I am saying the same thing all the time. When we have chances we need to score. If we don't then we will have problems."
