Lee Bowyer is back on Merseyside after leaving a training session with Leeds this morning.
Gerard Houllier is hoping that the accountants can finalise the deal later today so that the midfielder can play in the pre-season friendly against Le Havre on Friday. However Peter Ridsdale will insist that Bowyer is on the plane that is taking the Leeds United squad on a pre-season tour of the Far East this weekend, if the transfer has not gone through by then.
Bowyer has told KopTalk sources that is desperate to link-up with his new Liverpool team-mates rather than jetting off with Leeds.
