Liverpool target Lee Bowyer could be forced to stay in Leeds after the club told him he must pay them the £850,000 he owes in legal fees following his recent court case before he can leave.
If he leaves he will have to pay the amount in full where as if he stays, he can pay the amount back in instalments.
