Liverpool target Lee Bowyer will be sold within the next fortnight along with team-mate Robbie Keane, according to reports that started circulating yesterday.
Leeds are believed to be considering selling the pair to raise enough money to prevent them having to sell Rio Ferdinand to the Mancs.
Arsenal and Liverpool continue to be linked with Bowyer but neither side has made a formal approach to the club.
The longer Bowyer's situation drags on, the less he will have to run on his deal which is expiring, so naturally his transfer fee will decrease quickly.
