Bruno completes Rennes switch

Cheyrou was signed for Liverpool for £3.5m by Gerard Houllier in 2002 but the midfielder never made the breakthrough at Anfield and has spent the last two seasons out on loan at Marseille and Bordeaux respectively.

Cheyrou will officially put pen to paper on his Rennes deal when the transfer window opens tomorrow. Liverpool have let the 28 year old leave on a free transfer just to get him off the wage bill.
