Capello set for Anfield?

Capello, who has also had successful spells at A.C Milan and Real Madrid, is likely to leave the Roman giants after a difficult campaign. Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that Liverpool would be interested if Capello became available.

The 56 year-old has also been linked with Bayern Munich and Barcelona in recent weeks. It seems unlikely that there will be any foundation to these rumours as Gerard Houllier is not yet thought to be under any serious pressure.
