The vice-captain has recovered from the dislocated shoulder he picked up vs Spurs back on November 28th and will be in the squad for Wednesday's home game with Stoke.
"We have a full squad of players to pick from for Stoke City on Wednesday night. We've got Jamie Carragher back included in the squad," confirmed Kenny Dalglish.
"Fortunately the medical people were telling him to be patient, but you know what Carra is like - he wants to play every game and even when he was coming off with his shoulder injury, he was shouting instructions to someone at Tottenham!
"We know what he is, we respect him for what he is and we admire him for what he is. Because of what he is he's got the respect of the Liverpool fans. He'll be difficult to hold back, but we've got to be responsible as well."
