Carra gets record

Yesterday's appearance against PSV Eindhoven was Jamie Carragher's 58th in the European Cup, allowing him to overtake Phil Neal as the player with the most European Cup appearances for the club.

Carragher almost celebrated his record breaking appearance with a goal but was denied by a good save from Gomes. However, keeping a clean sheet was a welcome reward.
