Carra hoping for clean sheets record

The club's all time clean sheets record is 34 clean sheets in one season. This season to date the Reds have kept 33 clean sheets. With Premiership games against Aston Villa and Portsmouth and an FA Cup final against West Ham to come, Jamie Carragher is hoping the current side can earn a new club record.

"I'm desperate to break this clean-sheet record and that's all I'm thinking about right now. I was a bit sick when we conceded a goal on Wednesday because that would have seen us equal it," Carragher told the club's official website.

"We need two more from our remaining three games to make history and that's what I am fully focused on. It would be a great thing to achieve because it's going to be very difficult for any other team to surpass it in future."
