Carra hoping for derby return

Carragher injured his ankle in Saturday's Premiership game against Sheffield United. The injury has ruled him out for at least a fortnight but Carragher is hoping to be fit in time for the Goodison Merseyside derby on September 9th.

"We'll have to wait and see but I suppose at the moment you would have to say it's touch and go for the derby. The scan showed no damage but there's a lot of swelling and I'm on crutches. Hopefully it's not too bad though," said Liverpool's vice captain.
