Carra pleased with performance

The Reds held Chelsea to a goaless draw at Stamford Bridge yesterday and were the better side for most of the match. It was a performance that pleased Carragher.

"They are normally very tight games and we've had a lot of 0-0s here," said the Reds vice-captain.

"Both teams are good at the back and it's proved to be the case again here.

"I think we probably shaded and we could have nicked it but it's a decent point and we'd have taken that before the game.

"We did quite well because normally we stop them playing here and we don't do much in attack but I think the big man [Peter Crouch] did brilliant holding it up and we had some runners joining. We had a few chances and we did quite well."
