Carra praises Crouch

Crouch had another good game last night, despite failing to find the back of the net again. His performance earned him the praise of Jamie Carragher who believes the former Southampton striker has done as much as anyone to earn the Reds their place in the last sixteen.

"We keep saying strikers are always judged on goals but he's got a lot more to his game than just that," said Carragher.

"On the weekend he was probably our best player, and he was one of the best again tonight. Everyone is desperate for him to get goals, but as long as he's playing well everyone is happy."
