Carra remains confident

The Reds blew the chance to go top on Saturday when they could only draw 0-0 at home to Fulham. However, Carragher says the players must put this missed opportunity behind them and remain upbeat.

"Of course you want to win these games but when it doesn't happen you can't afford to get too downhearted because it's a tough league and I'm sure there are going to be plenty of games like that between now and next May," said the vice-captain.

"Obviously we haven't played well and we realise that but if you look at the Chelsea result I'm sure they would have been expecting to win their home game as well.

"The most important thing is our own results though because as this stage of the season we don't need to be looking at anyone else's results, we should just be concentrating on ourselves and our own form."
