Carra thanks Murphy

Former Red Murphy did Liverpool a favour by scoring the first in Fulham's 2-0 defeat of the league leaders in their last game. Carragher has revealed he was quick to thank his mate.

"I sent Danny a text before the game to wish him luck and another one afterwards to say thank you," said the vice-captain.

"He did us a favour, but it's up to us to capitalise now."
