Carra's warning

Liverpool have come from a losing position to win a match four times already this season. Although Carragher is pleased with the spirit in the squad this shows he has warned that it will be difficult to keep doing so.

"We do seem to making it a little bit difficult for ourselves and shouldn't have to do that every week. If we have to come from behind all the time then it's going to come back to bite you at some point," he said.

"Teams that have won championships in the past have always had great character and I think it hasn't just been the Man City game - there have been quite a few games where we've had to come back from behind.

"Being in a successful team is about the character as well and that's what we're showing at the moment.

"Liverpool have been doing this kind of thing since the days of Bill Shankly. It's that belief you carry with you where you think you can still produce something and win the match.

"At Man City both teams were down to ten men at the end, and it would have been easy for us to settle for the draw in the last couple of minutes.

"But we still went after the winner and we think we deserve praise for that."
