Carson deal done

Rafael Benitez has had to fight off stiff opposition from Chelsea for Carson, but hopes he will sign on the dotted line this afternoon.

"We have agreed terms with Leeds for Scott Carson," confirmed press officer Ian Cotton. "He will come to Liverpool today for a medical and to discuss personal terms."
