Liverpool's second string host Birmingham at the Racecourse ground at 7pm tonight. Due to postponements the game is the reserves' first of 2005.

Neil Mellor, Stephen Warnock, Jon Welsh, David Raven and Zak Whitbread are all in the starting eleven.
