Celtic star ready for Anfield test

The Belgian international is fully aware of the task his side must overcome if they are to clinch a semi-final place in the UEFA Cup. He believes, though, that the tie is far from over.

Valgaeren said: "It is a match that we are looking forward to and I think we are capable of winning at Anfield. We are all expecting a difficult match and we know that we will have to work hard, but we have to be confident.

"Both Emile Heskey and Michael Owen have proven on the biggest stages that they are world class players and there's no doubt that they are a handful. It'll be important to keep our concentration at the back."
