"Liverpool don't have any other fixtures on that day so we're hoping for a fair turnout from their first team," said City boss Simon Davies.
"It's going to be a great day for the fans - and a great challenge for the players as well.
"We've spoken to a lot of big clubs about friendlies and credit to Liverpool for taking us up on the offer."
