The French international suffered a miserable first season in the Premiership but he believes that he will show his best now thst he has received the full backing of Reds boss Gerard Houllier.
Cheyrou said: "I am going to stay at Liverpool. Gerard Houllier counts on me. It's true I've been struggling this season. The competition is very hard to make the starting line-up, but I am going to work and it will pay off."
