Cheyrou joins Marseille on loan

Marseille have the option to sign Cheyrou on a permanent deal at the end of the season if he proves himself back in the French league.

"He has a good left foot, he's athletic, able to score with headers," said coach Jose Anigo. "He's looking for revenge after his two seasons at Liverpool and his fighting words are good to hear."
