Cheyrou returns to Anfield

Cheyrou spent all of last season on loan at Bordeaux after being told he has no future at Anfield by Rafael Benitez. Cheyrou didn't have a bad season for the French side and helped them qualify for next season's Champions League.
However, Bordeaux have decided against signing the midfielder on a permanent contract so Cheyrou has returned to Anfield for the final year of his Liverpool contract. He will not get first team or reserve team games for the Reds and has been advised to look for another club immediately.
