VIP Liverpool fan Chris De Burgh has revealed that he bought a "few" shares in the club last year.

The singer, a close friend of Chairman David Moores, can often be seen with his children at various Liverpool fixtures up and down the country.

"I bought a few shares in the club last year," admitted De Burgh who is very popular in the music industry.

"My kids were worried that we would have to move seats but I explained we had bought shares not chairs!"

Best known for singing top hits 'Lady In Red' and 'Missing You', we have a lot of time for Chris after he spent time talking to KopTalk's Kop Kid's writers Steve Macneish (13) and Charlotte Oldham (9) when they were last in the player's lounge at Anfield.
