Cisse hopes for Kop return

Cisse has spent all season on loan at Marseille but the French club have not taken up their option to buy the Liverpool striker. Cisse is now hoping he can force his way into Rafael Benitez's plans.

"I really want to go back to Liverpool - for the fans and for my family," he said.

"I have everything there. It's a very special place and the fans are amazing. When you play for Liverpool you are playing for the Kop.

"I am waiting to hear but my priority is to go back there - and if not there somewhere in the Premier League."
