The French striker, who is on loan with French side Marsille, has played only three matches, but his form has already provoked rumours linking him with a return to the Premiership - particularly with London club Tottenham Hostpur. But Cisse is simply concentrating on scoring goals.

He said, "I joined OM to score. That is what I do and that is what I am asked to do. For the moment it is alright."

Cisse will almost definately leave Anfield at the end of the season as he is known to be surplus to Rafa Benitez's requirements, though it is uncertain whether the player will stay in France or return to the Premiership.

Cisse added he was delighted to be playing with French sensation Franck Ribery.

"For a striker, playing alongside such a talented player as Franck Ribery is wonderful. Samir Nasri and him have given me all the balls and I scored. With more efforts we can get second in the league," Cisse added.
