Cisse in French squad

Cisse scored Liverpool's first goal on Saturday as the Reds fought back from 2-0 and 3-2 down to lift the FA Cup. The French striker's excellent weekend was rounded off by a place in the World Cup squad.

Cisse had been worried he would miss out on a place in the French squad but a few goals in the Reds' end of season run in has earned him a trip to Germany.

Former Liverpool striker Nicholas Anelka has missed out for the third successive time however.
