Cisse move to go ahead

Cisse broke his leg while playing for France against China in a friendly a couple of weeks ago. It seemed the injury would rule him out of a move to Marseille but that will not be the case.

Cisse was set to join Marseille for £8m before his injury. Now he will join the French side on loan for all of next season and will sign permanently for £8m next Summer if he proves his fitness over the forthcoming season.

Cisse's broken leg is likely to rule him out until Christmas but the striker is hoping for a November return.
