Cisse reveals selfish streak

The French striker is tipped to leave Liverpool in January after failing to impress the Spanish boss.

But, with 10 goals to his name so far this season and with Peter Crouch struggling to score for the Reds, Cisse is hoping for a reprieve.

"I don't want to quit Liverpool," he said. "I'm really pleased to be here. "I'm here for the next five years and if it's more, it's more. I'm really happy to stay.

"I am happy with the number I've scored but I think I can reach 20 goals. It's my job to score.

"I have to score goals and, when I don't score a goal, I feel like I have done only half a job.

"Maybe it's selfish but I think strikers have to be selfish and try to score goals."
