The controversial Clough, who isn't exactly high on the popularity list in Liverpool, said: "I'd like the pace and brightness of young Dyer - Bobby Robson thinks he's got a gem there - while Murphy is a good, reliable team player with sound Liverpool habits who makes others around him flourish."
Clough also feels that Steven Gerrard, Michael Owen, Emile Heskey and former Red Robbie Fowler are certainties for inclusion.
