The Reds have been dumped out of the League Cup by a London team for the sixth season in a row. Chelsea in 2004/5, Crystal Palace in 2005/6, Arsenal in 2006/7, Chelsea in 2007/8, Spurs in 2008/9 and Arsenal again in 2009/10.
