Coleman ready for Liverpool test

The former Welsh international has guided the Cottagers to the heady heights of fifth in his first season as manager of the club and he believes that his team need not be frightened of the task ahead of them against Gerard Houllier's men at Loftus Road.

Coleman said: "Beating Manchester United was the best result of my whole career. On the coach home I could not stop smiling. I watched The Premiership and taped it to watch again.

"It was a fantastic performance and a great game. Playing Liverpool will be difficult and it is wrong now to say we are favourites to win.

"They have some great players but there is no way we will fear anybody and it is a game we know we can win, especially if we play the same way we did against United.

"This place has been buzzing since the weekend, but I have not had to say anything. The senior players have made sure the squad have kept their feet on the ground."
