Concern over Reds form

"We are concerned we are not showing our best level at the moment and in my case it's the same. I am getting there but day by day I know I have to improve and we need to recuperate that good feeling you get after games when we have won," Alonso said.

Talking before tonights Champions League match against Bordeaux, Alonso adde that the team were eager to extend their lead in the group.

"It's always difficult when you play away from home in the Champions League but we see it as a really good chance for us to make the gap even bigger in the group. We are looking forward to it and hope we can get a good result."
