Confident Thompson expects six out of six

Saturday's 4-0 defeat at Manchester United has left Liverpool five points adrift of the final Champions League place - currently being occupied by Chelsea. If Liverpool are to win a place in the European elite they may have to end the season in the manner envisaged by Thompson.
With daunting trips to Goodison Park and Stamford Bridge still to come, such a task will be most difficult. Thompson, though, remains upbeat.
He said: "We are going to win every one of our remaining games. We owe that to everyone connected to the club. Obviously everyone is extremely low after what happened at the weekend and it hurt us all."
