Coppell praises Reds

Liverpool beat Reading for the second time in ten days when they won 2-0 in the league on Saturday, following on from last week's 4-3 Carling Cup victory. After the game Royals boss Steve Coppell praised the Reds.

"If you're fighting Muhammad Ali in his prime, you don't just go in there and trade blows with him," said Coppell.

"You have a game plan against the top sides, and I don't mean that as a defensive point of view.

"We can't be the Reading of last season when we just had a go at everyone. These boys can sting you."
