The French duo arrive at Anfield next summer from Le Havre with fast growing reputations, and they are two players that Crevoisier rates as the best prospects in both France, Europe and possibly the world.

He said: "At the moment they are doing well for their club and for their national team. Despite not being 18, they are already playing for the under-21 team so that tells you how good they are.

"They are learning quickly at Le Havre and that is good for them. To play first division football this season before coming to Liverpool is a great experience.

"They are the best youngsters in France, in Europe and even in the world because they were part of the French team which won the World Youth Cup in Trinidad and Tobago. In that tournament Le Tallec was voted the best player and Pongolle was the top goalscorer. They are going to be top class players but they will need time."
