Crewe set to swoop for Warnock?

The Gresty Road club admitted earlier in the season that they expected to take at least one player on-loan from the Anfield club this summer, and it now seems that English left-back Warnock is their prime target.

While Gradi will be hoping that his club's special relationship with the Reds will prove to be an advantage, Gerard Houllier will also be mindful of the good relationship he holds with former Anfield favourite, and current Coventry City manager, Gary McAllister.
