"The people that count believe in me and that is a great boost. Now I feel more confident than I have at any time.
"To be honest I put the booing towards me to the back of my mind. The England manager has more than enough faith in me, I have faith in myself and hopefully I'd like to think I have come through the other side.
"To be fair, the fans have been great in the last two games, right behind the team, and I think you can tell the World Cup is coming up with the buzz and the atmosphere.
"The atttitude of the supporters towards myself has been good and I thrive on it."
