The iconic Liverpool midfielder has been the centre of speculation recently again, with rumours suggesting he may be on the move to further his career prospects at club level.
But P.C. has said he believes the rumours are based on little truth.
"I don't think that was ever an issue about Steven leaving. He loves the club and I can't see him ever leaving to be honest. I wouldn't say he is back to form, because we always felt he was playing well for the team. It was great for him to get a goal the other night as well," Crouch said.
