Crouch delighted with hat-trick

Crouch gave a man of the match performance for England as he scored three times in a 6-0 win over Jamaica, the biggest win of Sven Goran Eriksson's reign. However, the Liverpool striker was typically modest about his achievement afterwards.

"I just tried to make an impact after coming on against Hungary and against Jamaica," said Crouch.
 
"I've enjoyed the time I've been with England. You hope to do your best and I've got a few goals.
 
"Hopefully I've proved I can start and affect games. If the manager is saying I have got a chance to start that's great for me."
