Crouch hoping to qualify today

Sweden and Trinidad & Tobago's 0-0 draw coupled with England's 1-0 win over Paraguay last Saturday means England can guarentee qualification for the second round of the World Cup if they beat the Carribbean side this afternoon.

Peter Crouch is confident England can get the win they need but says nobody in the England squad will understimate their opponents.

"We all believe going into the next couple of games that we will get the right results. The important game is the next one because it means we will go through to the second round if we win it," says the Liverpool striker.

"But it is always going to be difficult in a World Cup. Trinidad proved that against Sweden in the last game. They are going to be difficult to break down but we are confident we can beat them.

"We want to finish top of our group and get the right result in the last game as well.

"We've got later kick-offs now after the heat for the Paraguay game which will definitely help us and I think the encouraging first-half performance against them will continue for the whole 90 minutes on Thursday."
